The City of North Canton Dogwood Swimming Pool passes go on sale May 13th, 2013. The pool will open May 25, 26, and 27th and close May 28th - 31st and reopen June 1st for the season. The City of North Canton's Spring Yard Waste Recycling Program will begin April 15th and run through May 24th, 2013. Bags may be purchased at local retailers. Please put yard waste paper bags at the curbside on your regular trash day. Note: If yard waste is in plastic bags it will go to the landfill with your regular trash. The new Gateway Entrance Sign design has been chosen after input from the community. Three Areas of Concern and their Updates: Zimber Ditch -       This is a regional issue with the majority of the Zimber Ditch and the associated drainage area falling outside of the City of North Canton; hence, we are working with the other affected communities. -       The County Engineer’s Office has taken the lead in this effort and we have been involved in several discussions.  Most recently, we have met with the engineering firm that performed the Zimber Ditch Study and Recommendations in...

North Canton City Council signed a resolution into affect supporting Issue 29. The resolution can be read here.

A study is currently being conducted regarding water runoff from the Fairways Golf Course to include a look at the storm sewers in the area.  The City has hired a firm that specialized in this type of work.

The City is waiting for the Army Corps of Engineers for their input and advice. The City has also been contacting those entities along the Zimber Ditch in order to set up a multi-jurisdictional task force regarding flooding issues.
